The new 2008 Corvette ZR1 is quite a car. The manufacturer boasts over 600 crankshaft horsepower and 595 crankshaft torque.
Those number translate to approximately 515 H.P. at the rear wheels and 494 ft. lbs. of rear wheel torque. The all new 6.2 liter Supercharged LS9 will pull the ZR1 hard to 200+ M.P.H.

Unfortunately, with a window sticker at over $100,000, limited availability and talk of retailers hiking the price tag to almost double the sticker price, the new ZR1 is not going to be for everyone. |
East Coast Supercharging has been building some of the fastest street Corvettes in the nation for nearly a decade.
We are very excited about the release of the new ZR1 however, we haven't forgotten that your standard C5 and C6 Corvettes are still world class supercars in the making.
We chose to build our business around the late model Corvette because we believe a modified Corvette gives consumers the most performance for their money.
An otherwise stock C6 Z06 Corvette retailing brand new at approximately $73,000 with just our entry level Paxton SC600 Supercharger Kit, ($8295 Installed), yields approximately 600 Rear Wheel H.P. and 600 Ft. lbs. of Rear Wheel Torque. That's ZR1 performance for much less, and you don't have to stop there. ECS has produced numerous street and track cars with horsepower upwards of 800 at the rear wheels.
We can give you this kind of performance in any C5 or C6 and still keep you far under the average cost of a new ZR1 or Z06. |
