Car is completely set up for drag racing, street use would be limited at best.
This car held the record for a while for fastest stock bottom end LT1. mods are as follows;
BODY
The car has been thoroughly lightened, full weight is roughly 2,850 lbs. The interior is stripped, with a Sparco race seat. All the wiring has been removed if unnecessary, only the wires for running the PCM and it's functions remain. All switches (ignition etc) are on the center console set up in a std race car fashion. The hood is a lift off Harwood that is pinned in place. The roll cage and entire car is certable to 8.50 by NHRA specs.
The front sub frame and upper/lower control arms have been replaced with a BMR tube style replacement which is powder coated red. It has a Pinto style manual steering rack with a removable steering wheel. The brakes are Wilwood drag brakes and calipers, with Weld lightweight racing rims on a 10.5 tire.
ENGINE
Stock LT1 original long block, heads/intake have been ported and valves/springs replaced. There is a two stage NOS kit equaling a 160 shot all together. It has a custom fuel system with a Magna Flow fuel pump assy - 5 gal fuel cell- and Magna flow regulator. Hooker headers and mufflers which dump before the axle, car passes noise restrictions at Raceway park, but barely. Mazier electric water pump and aluminum radiator with electric fans. MSD ignition.
The car is in perfect running order and can run nines all day long, a simple rod and piston change along with changing NOS jets and it's an eight second car for well under 20k.
